Pet Portraits and Art by Jennifer Wilson, Glasgow, Scotland.  Horse, Dog and Cat Portraits. Online gallery display of landscape paintings, canvas wall art and paintings of buildings.

Hello and welcome to my online gallery display of my paintings, pet portraits and prints.

I am an artist based in Glasgow, Scotland. I specialise in pet portraits but also enjoy painting scenery, either as a conventional painting or as contemporary abstract canvas wall art and I also enjoy painting buildings !

Please enjoy browsing the various pictures displayed on this site.  You can arrange for a Pet Portrait or for a special view to be painted - even from a photograph ! Finished portraits and landscapes can even be posted out to you. You can find out how best to photograph your dog, cat or horse for a pet portrait painting or pastel in the section "How to Photograph Your Animal for a pet portrait" by following the link from the index above.

Some of my Prints are available right now to purchase and include scenes of Milngavie, Dunkeld, Perth and Tomintoul and also scenes of horses hunting and ploughing and racehorses exercising. There is also a print of one of my pastel paintings of the famous Scottish Highland Cattle or "Heilan' Coos" as they are known !

I am currently working on some new series of pictures, namely views of Eigg and Rhum from Arisaig, Beach Horses, Native Ponies of Scotland, Spirit Horses and Arab Horses. I am also working on some local scenes including Killearn, Baldernock, Mugdock, the Campsies and Milngavie.  As yet not all of my pictures are displayed on the online gallery so if you are interested in anything in particular please email me at the contact email below.

I am a Member of the Perthshire Art Association and a Friend of the Society of Equestrian Artists.  I have painted  a pet portrait for the winning dog at Milngavie Week Pet Show for years 2005, 2006 and 2007. I have exhibited at Perth Museum and the Dunkeld Cathedral Art Exhibition (which raises money for the upkeep of Dunkeld Cathedral) and also at the Clarkston Christian Aid Charity Exhibition in Glasgow.  I also have paintings and prints displayed at the A'anside Studios in the highest village in the Highlands of Scotland, namely Tomintoul !
